Should I use the oil in place of my regular cream moisturizer or along with it?

You can use this in place of a moisturizer OR layer on top of your moisturizing cream to lock moisture in.
When should I use a facial oil?

We recommend using a facial oil as the last step in your routine (after moisturizer) but before SPF. In addition to providing deep moisture, our facial oils have a variety of treatment benefits to help you reach your skin goals. If you have oily - combo skin, facial oils can be used in replacement of a moisturizer. If you are normal - dry, try layering on top for extra moisture and to seal in all of the skincare that comes before!
Can I use Lapis if my skin is dry but I also have acne or breakouts?

Lapis is not only great for acne and oily prone skin, but it is also very hydrating. So yes, this would also be a great option for dry acne prone skin.
Is Lapis Oil packaging recyclable?

Yes, the glass bottle and cap can be recycled after rinsing. Our cardboard is made from FSC certified paper and recyclable.

    My Favorite Cleanser By Far!

    I have combination acne-prone skin with an oily T-zone and this cleanser works perfectly for me! I've tried many cleansers, but they were either too harsh and drying and irritated by skin, or would leave a film on my face either from their formulation or from not cleansing away oils fully. The Herbivore Aquarius cleanser is perfectly balanced and completely cleanses away impurities from my face while also not irritating it or leaving it too dry. It is a staple in my skincare routine, and I love that it comes in glass packaging as I am trying to reduce my exposure to microplastics. I also prefer pump dispensers as they are faster and easier to navigate in the shower rather than trying to open a slippery flip-top, and always pump out just the right amount. Overall 10/10! The only thing that would make it better is if it would go on a bigger sale than the subscription discount with free shipping still included more often, but it is a premium product so the price is reasonable for what you get.

    Best facial cleanser!

    Awesome face wash

    I absolutely love the Aquarius line from Herbivore Botanicals and this one has become a mainstay along with the bath salts. Cleansing, hydrating, and exfoliating in just the right measure and delivers great results when paired up with the other products. Has a pleasant fresh scent.
